Hey there, I'm Jenni
I'm a Utah photographer specializing in portrait and flower photography. I have over 15 years of experience, I've done a little bit of everything from commercial photography, to newborn photography, and a little bit of everything in between. I'm twenty nine years old, I'm happily married to the most kind, wonderful, hard working, and loving man named Landen, who is the most amazing father and step father to our five kids. We have a black lab/catahoula mix named Juno who is a gigantic goof ball.
My photography journey
I started photography when I was fourteen years old. For Christmas my mom got me a Canon Rebel and Adobe Photoshop elements nine. I started taking pictures immediately, primarily photographing my two dogs, Tuffy and TJ, my mother's flowerbeds in her front and back yard, my friends, my sister, the five horses my neighbor had, as well as my friends Arabian horse.
I started out using Adobe Photoshop Elements nine, which was a pretty old and basic program, but at the time I thought it was amazing. Looking back now I do cringe quite a bit thinking about my old editing style, lol.
I started discovering some amazing photographers, the first one being Jessica Monson Drossin from California. Her work was absolutely awe inspiring to me. I spent hours watching her editing tutorials, and once I had my own money I purchased some of her editing tools and spent even more hours in Photoshop playing around with them and seeing what they could do. Some other artists who have, and continue to inspire me are Meg Loeks, Cori Henderson, and TJ Drysdale.
I eventually upgraded my camera to a Canon 60D, and four years ago I upgraded again to my first full frame camera, a Canon 6D Mark II, which is what I shoot with now.
